This policy explains what personal data SACC Software Limited ("SACC") collects through getsacc.com and its software services, why, and the choices you have. It follows Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
Who is responsible
SACC Software Limited, P.O. Box 119824, Kampala, decides how the data collected on this website is used. In SACC software that a business uses to keep its own records (for example patients, students, guests or customers), that business decides how its data is used and SACC handles it on the business's behalf, under its agreement with SACC.

- Bookings: name, contact details, the service and the time you choose for a demonstration or consultation.
- Newsletter: your e-mail address, and your name and phone if you give them.

- To send updates you subscribed to; every message lets you unsubscribe.
- To keep the website and services secure and to improve them.

Data is used with your consent, to perform a contract with you, to meet a legal obligation, or for SACC's legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights. SACC does not sell personal data.
How long it is kept
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship are deleted within 24 months. Payment and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Data a business keeps in a hosted SACC service is held while its subscription is active, remains available for export for 30 days after it ends, and is then deleted.
Security
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it, protected by individual accounts, and backed up. No system is completely secure, so please tell SACC straight away if you suspect misuse.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data SACC holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw consent you gave. Write to support@getsacc.com; SACC will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to Uganda's Personal Data Protection Office.
Children
The website is meant for businesses and adults. Data about pupils and students in Evolution, SACC's school software, is recorded by the school, which is responsible for it; SACC handles it only to provide the service to the school.

SACC may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be announced on the website.
